Los Angeles County Industry News From the L.A. County Solid Waste Management Committee/Integrated Waste Management Task Force (link below)
Note: CWRA Executive Director Ron Saldana is the industry representative member of the Committee which meets on a monthly basis to review and take action on solid waste issues within the purview of the Committee. This includes industry State legislative matters.
Committee members represent L.A. County and the city, Environmental Organization, Calif. League of Cities, S.C.A.Q.M.D. Representative, L.A. County Dept. of Public Health Representative, Long Beach Public Works Dept., a Business Representative, and others.
The Committee is a very cohesive group and in most cases Committee positions are in alignment with our CWRA industry positions. Where they are not, it will be noted.
